About Kodaikanal
Kodaikanal ("Kodai") sits atop the Palani Hills in the Western Ghats of Tamil Nadu. Established as a hill station in 1845, it is famous for its star-shaped Kodaikanal Lake, eucalyptus-scented walks, the rare Kurinji flower that blooms once every twelve years, and sweeping cliff views like Pillar Rocks and Dolphin's Nose.

Nearest airports: Madurai (120 km) and Coimbatore (175 km). Cabs to Kodai take 3–4 hours.
Nearest railhead: Kodaikanal Road (80 km), connected to Chennai, Madurai and Coimbatore. We arrange station pickups.
Frequent buses and cabs from Madurai, Palani, Coimbatore and Bangalore. The Palani–Kodai ghat road has 14 hairpin bends.
