🚌 By road

Frequent buses and cabs from Madurai, Palani, Coimbatore and Bangalore. The Palani–Kodai ghat road has 14 hairpin bends.

Carry a light jacket even in summer; evenings get chilly.
Berijam Lake permits are issued at the Forest Office by 9 AM — our packages include them.
Local taxis and auto-rickshaws cover the sightseeing loop; self-drive cars are uncommon.
ATMs and UPI work in town; carry some cash for lakeside stalls and village markets.
